Capacity Increase of Kumköy Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)

The scope of the project is increasing the treatment capacity of Kumköy Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
The existing WWTP has treatment capacity of 50 000 m3/day and because of increasing population in the catchment area of the WWTP especially in summer time, the existing capacity started to be insufficient Hence, the detailed design is conducted by Rast in order to increase the treatment capacity of WWTP from 50 000 m3/day to 75 000 m3/day.

The detailed design consists of soil improvement, architectural, civil, electrical and mechanical designs, bill of quantities and detailed technical specification of intake pumping station, screening, grit removal, aeration tank, final sedimentations tank, return sludge pumping station, blower building and sludge dewatering units.
