Within the scope of EIA (PIF) study, the positive and negative environmental impacts of the Maspo Geothermal Energy Plant IV with 10 MWe (10 MWm) installed capacity were determined.
In the context of current situation determination study, literature review was conducted. In order to determine the flora and fauna of the project area and impact area, sampling studies were carried out by expert biologists on land, and the outcomes supported with literature review were reported.
Potential noise emissions from the plant were evaluated and impact modelling studies were conducted.
The measures to be taken in accordance with the Turkish Environmental Legislation for mitigation of the potential negative effects were explained in the PIF Report.
